The 20th century brought about rapid industrial development, offering new opportunities in the field of dentistry. These new opportunities have given rise to growing expectations and requirements of the patients, who wish to improve their appearance. A pretty smile is more than just healthy teeth – what also matters is their shape and colour. This effect may be achieved by applying peroxide substances.
Our clinic uses the following tooth whitening methods:
- Professional whitening at the clinic and continued at home
- Whitening at home (under the supervision of an oral hygienist)
- Unassisted and unsupervised whitening by the patient at home (pastes)
Tooth whitening under the supervision of a hygienist:
- The patient is first examined by a doctor with the hygienist present
- The shade of teeth is selected using a colour card
- The method of whitening is selected
- The patient’s teeth are cleaned professionally by the hygienist
The whitening process is carried out in the surgery using a 37% whitening gel
