ENDODONTICS
The DENTIST clinic has a unique focus on endodontics. We make every effort to keep up-to-date with all the latest developments in that field of dentistry. We participate in conventions, as well as run our own training courses addressed to dentists.
Endodontics, also known as root canal treatment, is a special dental procedure applied in the case of complications due to tooth decay (caries). A long-lasting tooth decay process causes the deterioration of tooth tissue.
Endodontic treatment involves the removal of infected pulp from root canals or, in case of retreatment, preparing the root canals again to remove bacteria. Every endodontic treatment is completed by filling the root canals with gutta-percha material, whose purpose is to block the path for bacteria and prevent re-infection of the roots.
The DENTIST clinic is equipped with a microscope and professional devices indispensable for complicated root canal procedures, including clearing of obliterated (blocked) root canals and removal of endodontic instruments broken in the canals.
